It’s a high energy opening night at the 2022 Parkes Elvis Festival. For one night only in a Festival exclusive, the internationally acclaimed sensation Mark Anthony will be rockin’ the Leagues Club stage with a unique show that can only be seen at Parkes.

This show will contain a tribute to our theme, Elvis’ 1968 movie Speedway, with the fabulous Mel McCaig making a guest appearance channeling the iconic Nancy Sinatra and Mark Anthony performing popular Elvis movie songs.

Mark Anthony will also deliver elements of his signature show paying tribute to the 70s.

Don’t miss this dynamic opening night paying tribute to the songs, the costumes, the emotion, the energy and the raw power that made Elvis the greatest entertainer this world has ever known.

Back in Memphis ’69-’77

Internationally acclaimed US Feature Artist Taylor Rodriguez will perform the hits that were recorded in Memphis Tennessee from 1969-1977 featuring songs from the album’s Elvis at STAX, Elvis-Way Down in the Jungle Room, and Elvis- Back In Memphis. Revisit your many favourites from throughout the career of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Backed by the incredible TIC band, Taylor is set to get the house rockin’ in the final feature show on his debut visit to Australia.

Taylor hails from Lynchburg, Virginia and has had the honour of performing in many musical productions including the Million Dollar Quartet where he starred as Elvis Presley. In 2017 he was named One of the Top 5 Elvis Tribute Artist in the world. In June of 2019, he was crowned the 2019 Tupelo Elvis Festival Champion.

Taylor Rodriguez was named the 2019 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion by Elvis Presley Enterprises and is performing for the first time ever in Australia at Parkes Elvis Festival.
