The Parkes SES volunteer at every Parkes Elvis Festival

Road closures occur during Parkes Elvis Festival for the safety and enjoyment of our Festival fans.

Closures that will occur include:

The following road closures will be in place during the 2024 Parkes Elvis Festival:

  • Short Street – Wednesday, 10 January from 6am until Sunday 14 January 8pm
  • Clarinda Street (Festival Boulevard) from Bushman Street to Short Street from Friday 12 January 6.00am to Sunday 14 January 7.00am.
  • Clarinda Street (Street Parade) from Mitchell Street to Short Street Saturday 13 January from 6.00am – 12noon; and
  • Caledonia Street from Short Street to May Street Saturday 13 January from 6.00am – 12noon.

Please ensure your vehicles are not parked in the street during these times and remind your customers to do the same.
