Get your lashes on and tease your hair into a beehive for the ultimate Priscilla Presley look-a-like competition where you’ll become an instant celebrity.

Judges will look at overall appearance, including make-up, hair and dress to resemble the pre-1969 look of Priscilla Presley. The annual prize is awarded to both the stylist and model.

Miss Priscilla – Face of the Festival
Judges will look at overall appearance, including makeup, hair and dress to resemble the pre-1969 look of Priscilla Presley. Contestants must have their own hair with no exceptions. No full wigs, hair extensions or hair pieces are permitted. Adornments may be used but must not dominate the overall look. The annual prize is awarded to both the stylist and model.
As winner of Miss Priscilla: Face of the Festival, the official duties include being treated as a celebrity with Festival fans wanting to snap a photo everywhere she goes, riding in a lead car in the Evolution Northparkes Mines Street Parade and is onstage at the Festival’s Official Opening Ceremony and various other events.

Elvis Movie Era Women’s Hairstyles
Hairstyle and makeup must demonstrate classic hairstyles worn in the Elvis movie era from 1954 to 1969. Themed dress is not compulsory however is encouraged. Dress must be appropriately presentable. This competition is open to professional and amateur hair stylists. Hair extensions and hair pieces may be used. No full wigs allowed. Hairstyles can include short, shoulder length or long hair in up or down styles. There is no requirement for appearances after the dinner.

Yearly Themed Competition
This competition is changed each year, and seeks the best styled contestant in reference to the Festival’s theme. For example, Miss Speedway and Miss Blue Hawaii have been recent competitions. Judges will look for technical ability, transformation, and the ability to interpret the theme, judging on overall styling including hair, makeup and clothing. This competition is open to both professional and self-stylists. There is no requirement for appearances after the dinner.

Best Dressed competitions
There are several competitions held on the night for dinner attendees. These change from year-to-year however are usually, Best Themed Lady, Best Themed Man (no Elvis jumpsuits) and Best Themed Couple. The crowd decides the winner with the loudest cheering. Prizes are given onstage.

As winner of Miss Priscilla: Face of the Festival, the official duties include being treated as a celebrity with Festival fans wanting to snap a photo everywhere you go and having the chance to ride in a lead classic car in the Evolution Mining Northparkes Operations Street Parade on the Saturday of the Festival and appearances at events and official functions across the Festival.
