SUN RISING – THE BIRTH OF ROCK & ROLL

7.30pm for an 8pm start.

This critically acclaimed show celebrates the music and stories of the early years of Sun Records. You’re promised an unforgettable night as Sun Rising brilliantly interpret the timeless songs and legendary performances captured by pioneering sound engineer, Sam Phillips, a this Sun Records recording studio in 1950’s Memphis.

You’ll hear world class performances of songs by Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Howlin’ Wolf and BB King amongst others.

Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Howlin’ Wolf and BB King ,all had one thing in common- they launched their careers at The Sun Recording Company.
