McDonald’s Busking Championships
Festival Boulevard will be rockin’ with the Busking Championships at Parkes Elvis Festival.
The footpaths, street corners, cafés and shop fronts along Festival Boulevard become a stage for the brilliant array of talented, quirky and beginner artists who are performing for Festival fans passing by.

Buskers must register and perform during the festival. Performances must be in the style of Elvis to be considered for the competition. There are Junior and Open Categories with great cash prizes on offer.
Upon arrival in Parkes, buskers are required to check in at the Volunteer Hub, located at the Masonic Lodge (1 Short Street, Parkes), with Kenny McGrath, the portfolio holder for this competition. Each busker will be issued with a poster displaying their allocated busker number. At this time, buskers will also be advised of their designated performance location for the festival. If a busker requires a change of location during the festival, they should contact Kenny McGrath to discuss their request. We will do our best to accommodate any changes where possible.
Entrants are scored while performing in front of an audience at 3pm on Saturday 9th January at the Broadway Hotel in the Beer Garden.
Following judging, the top three buskers will perform for the title of Busking Champion in the finals on the Cooke Park Main Stage on 12pm on Sunday.
Entry Fee: $25.00 for the Senior Competition and free for the Junior Competition.
