Friday of the festival / 10am-4pm / Festival Boulevard / Free
Featuring classic and vintage cars, vans and motorbikes from bygone days. Car and caravan combos accepted.
Any type of vehicle accepted (must be more than 30 years old).
Competition categories include;
- Best Classic Motorcycle
- Best Classic Car
- Best Classic Caravan
- Best Classic Commercial Car
Entries will be taken up until 9:00am on Friday, 8 January 2027 if there is room to accommodate your vehicle.

Cars of the Era
Saturday of the festival / 10.30am-4pm / Top of Clarinda Street / Free
Cars of the Era showcases the large American-style cars of the 50s through to the 70s. These are the cars that ruled the road when Elvis ruled the airwaves.
The Cars of the Era Display starts with parading your car in the iconic Evolution Mining Northparkes Operations Street Parade (starting at 9:00am) in front of thousands of cheering fans. At the end of the parade your car will be displayed in Clarinda Street until 4:00pm.

- Best Elvis Era Closed Car
- Best Supreme Elvis Era Vehicle
- Best Elvis Era Roadster
- Best Elvis Era Convertible
- Best Hot Rod

Please note: All vehicles involved in the Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show and Cars of the Era Show must be moved from the Festival Boulevard no later than 4.00pm.
It is a requirement of entry that a contact number is provided for all vehicles so that organisers of the Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show and Cars of the Era Show can contact the vehicle owners if they are not moved prior to 4.00pm.
If the organisers of the Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show and Cars of the Era Show do not move their vehicles, notification may be provided to the Police to ensure accordance with the approved Traffic Control Plans for the event.
