Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show

Friday of the festival / 10am-4pm / Festival Boulevard / Free

Featuring classic and vintage cars, vans and motorbikes from bygone days. Car and caravan combos accepted.
Any type of vehicle accepted (must be more than 30 years old).

Competition categories include;

• Best Classic Motorcycle
• Best Classic
• Best Classic Caravan
• Best Classic Commercial Car

Cars of the Era

Saturday of the festival / 11.30am-4pm / Top of Clarinda Street / Free

Cars of the Era showcases the large American-style cars of the 50s through to the 70s. These are the cars that ruled the road when Elvis ruled the airwaves.

The Cars of the Era Display starts with parading your car in the iconic Evolution Mining Northparkes Operations Street Parade (starting at 10am) in front of thousands of cheering fans. At the end of the parade your car will be displayed in Clarinda Street until 4pm.

• Best Supreme Elvis Era Vehicle
• Best Elvis Era Roadster
• Best Elvis Era Convertible
• Best Hot Rod

Please note: All vehicles involved in the Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show and Cars of the Era Show must be moved from the Festival Boulevard no later than 4.00pm.

It is a requirement of entry that a contact number is provided for all vehicles so that organisers of the Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show and Cars of the Era Show can contact the vehicle owners if they are not moved prior to 4.00pm.

If the organisers of the Classic & Heritage Vehicle Show and Cars of the Era Show do not move their vehicles, notification may be provided to the Police to ensure accordance with the approved Traffic Control Plans for the event.

I/We hereby adhere and agree to the conditions and instructions outlined with this entry form and will follow instructions from Parkes Shire Council, Parkes Police and SES. Registered participants are advised that during the course of this event they may be photographed or filmed by official Parkes Elvis Festival photographers or by officially accredited media. It is a condition of entry to the competition that participants consent to the use of any photos or film containing their image, by media outlets, and/or by the Parkes Elvis Festival and/or by related parties in pursuit of Parkes Elvis Festival objectives. On form submission you will be automatically added to our mailing list. We use our mailing list to communicate with you about the Festival. We will never sell or supply your contact details to third parties.

I/We hereby acknowledge and agree to remove vehicle/s from the Festival Boulevard and the top of Clarinda Street no later than 4.00pm on Saturday, 11 January 2025, and acknowledge that notification may be provided by the Police if vehicles are not moved within the appropriate timeframe in accordance with the approval Traffic Control Plans for the event.
