Road Closures

Closures that will occur include:

The following road closures will be in place during the 2026 Parkes Elvis Festival:

• Short Street – Wednesday, 7 January from 6am until Sunday 11 January 8pm
• Clarinda Street (Festival Boulevard) from Bushman Street to Short Street from Friday 9 January 6.00am to Sunday 11 January 7.00am.
• Court Street from Jansen Lane to McGees Lane from Friday 9 January 6.00am to Sunday 11 January 7.00am.
• Church Street from Jansen Lane to McGees Lane from Friday 9 January 6.00am to Sunday 11 January 7.00am.
• Browne Street from Clarinda Street to Jansen Lane from Friday 9 January 6.00am to Sunday 11 January 7.00am.
• Clarinda Street (Street Parade) from Mitchell Street to Short Street Saturday 10 January from 6.00am – 12noon
• Victoria Street from Jansen Lane to McGees Lane Saturday 10 January from 6.00am – 12noon
• Bushman Street from Jansen Lane to McGees Lane Saturday 10 January from 6.00am – 12noon; and
• Caledonia Street from Short Street to May Street Saturday 10 January from 6.00am – 12noon.

Changes to parking arrangements on May Street: A temporary No Stopping zone, which will include night-lining the area, will be installed along both sides of May Street from Currajong Street to Welcome Street, driveway access will remain open.

Please ensure your vehicles are not parked in the street during these times and remind your customers to do the same.
