Down in the Jungle Room is an intimate, immersive live show that pulls back the velvet curtain on the final recording sessions of Elvis Presley, held in the most unlikely of places: his own living room.
From 1976 to early 1977, Elvis transformed the Jungle Room at Graceland decked out in shag carpet, Polynesian decor, and green upholstery into a home studio. It was here he recorded the songs that would become the final albums of his life: From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee (1976) and Moody Blue (1977).
These sessions were emotionally raw, vocally powerful, and deeply revealing recorded late at night, often in one take, surrounded by his trusted musicians.
Down in the Jungle Room is a haunting, heartfelt tribute to a man reckoning with mortality, loneliness, and the fire that still burned within him to create.
