Asabi Goodman

Asabi Goodman is an American born Australian residing in Queensland. Her experience extends from performing in a multitude of genres including classical, pop, jazz, blues, RnB, and musical theatre, both here and in the US. She has played a wealth of roles on the stage from ‘Mrs. Muller’ in DOUBT (2015) and ‘Marianne Angelle’ in Lauren Gunderson’s THE REVOLUTIONISTS (2021) to the iconic ‘Motormouth Maybelle’ in both the Australian and the US Broadway touring productions of HAIRSPRAY! (2022/ 2023). Most recently, Asabi portrayed ‘Matron Mamma Morton’ in the Australian touring production of CHICAGO (2023/ 2024), and appeared in the critically acclaimed Baz Luhrmann film, ELVIS (2022). In 2026, Asabi will embark on a regional tour of Australia in the concert production, THE BIG CHILLOUT, presenting the hits of Motown.

No stranger to performing the legendary music of Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin, Asabi uses her own unique voice to bring their songs to life. She is very excited to be performing for the Parkes Elvis Festival and hopes you enjoy the show!
