ETA Busking Competition

We are excited to announce a brand-new busking category for the 2027 Parkes Elvis Festival – the ETA Busking Competition!

Are you an Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) just starting out, or an experienced performer looking to compete and be part of the festival? This category is perfect for you.

Did you know that many ETAs started their careers busking on the streets before progressing to the stage? This competition provides a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and perform in front of thousands of festival-goers.

Competition Requirements

Participants must:

  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Wear Elvis-themed attire
  • Perform Elvis songs only
  • Busk for a minimum of two hours per day over a three-day period during the festival

Prize Money

1st Prize: $800
2nd Prize: $400
3rd Prize: $300

Location

The ETA Busking Competition will take place along Clarinda Street, alongside our popular McDonald’s Busking Championships, providing performers with plenty of exposure throughout the festival.

Finalists will perform as part of the Busking Championships Finals, held at the same time and location as the McDonald’s Busking Championships Finals.

Whether you’re taking your first steps as an ETA or looking to showcase your talent to a dedicated Elvis audience, we encourage you to get involved and be part of this exciting new addition to the Parkes Elvis Festival.
