Vintage Showgirl Workshop

Join Dance Like A Diva for a glamorous afternoon of fabulous body-positive fun at the 2025 Parkes Elvis Festival.

Friday 10^th January – 1:30 – 3:00pm at Parkes Services Club (upstairs)

 This fun workshop, with a touch of Marilyn Monroe, will have you walking and posing like a showgirl and dancing seductively to some of Elvis’ sexiest tracks, and other vintage classics.

Feel free to dress up, bring your dancing shoes along and whilst bling is not compulsory, remember, “Diamonds are a Girls’ best friend”!

What you need to know:

• no prior dance training is needed as workshops are tailored to suit all levels of ability
• the emphasis is on having fun, laughter is guaranteed
• price includes satin gloves to take home and a glass of bubbles on arrival (non-alcoholic options available)
• all props provided
• suitable for all ages and body shapes

COST: $50 (limited places available)

Sharyne is an experienced dancer, teacher and performer (as well as an award-winning pinup and artist). Her performance career spans over 40 years and has taken her to the UK, Europe and the US. She founded the world’s first Marilyn Monroe Festival, leads the Dance Like A Diva troupe and produces the Blue Cabaret. She has choreographed winning routines for burlesque and boylesque performers. Her workshops are available to any person regardless of age, size, ability or gender.
