Known as the heart of Parkes Elvis Festival, Cooke Park will present more than fifty top-quality entertainers over the four days. There will be a little less conversation, a little more action with all the non-stop entertainment that 2024 has to offer.

Gerard Mascarenhas

Gerard has been an Elvis tribute artist for the past four years.  He won the undiscovered virtual competition in 2021, has performed on national television and is a contestant in the preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at the 2023 Parkes Elvis Festival.

Mark Andrew

Mark Andrew Tabone was born in Melbourne in 1966 and spent most of his childhood in Europe. It was there his interest in performing arts developed from an early age, acting, singing and playing character roles to large audiences. On his return to Australia in 1983, he appeared on the nine networks talent show “New Faces” which opened a lot of doors. In 1992 he formed a Rock n’ Roll band “Blue Suede Dudes”, playing many Melbourne venues and also supporting Chubby Checker on his Australian Tour. In 1995 he featured as Buddy Holly in a Legends Revival Concert at Dallas Brooks Hall. He then created his own corporate “Dead- Set Legends” show performing as Buddy Holly, John Lennon, Jim Morrison and Elvis. “Elvis Leaves His Mark” was launched in 1998 and is now one of the best Tribute shows worldwide with Mark finishing in the top 5 in the world in Memphis in 2002. In Recent times Mark was invited to perform his Elvis Tribute for Joe Esposito, Elvis’ own Road manager and best Man at his wedding, Joe’s comments were “Mark You did an absolute fantastic tribute to Elvis and it brought back so many memories, You sang from the heart just like Elvis did” Mark, a trained actor has an incredible versatile talent to capture each character and later added Austin Powers, Dean Martin & Tom Jones to his Legend show and also makes a true to life Danny Zuco, performing in his own Grease Tribute show. In recent years, Mark has been invited 4 years in a row to headline “The Parkes Elvis Festival” performing various versions of his “Elvis Leaves His Mark” show, with this year having sold out 4 consecutive shows with standing ovations.

Elvis Tribute Artist, Che-Orton, performs at the Parkes Elvis Festival

Che Orton

New Zealand born musician and singer Che Orton, has been entertaining professionally for the past 17 years and has travelled throughout New Zealand and overseas as a solo artist and in professional tribute shows. After 14 years of being in tribute shows, Che has also formed one of the top bands around the Waikato, and has quickly gained a great reputation for polished performances throughout the country. In 2016, he travelled to Nashville to record his first single, “You’re the Reason” written for his wife. The song enjoyed success on one of NZ’s top radio station play lists. An accomplished singer/songwriter and recording artist Che represented NZ at the Texas Country Music Awards in 2017 having been recognised for his own songs. He is an incredibly versatile performer, sings a broad repertoire of music including with his own band and is well known throughout the clubs in New Zealand as both a soloist, a Bee Gee, a band lead and of course one of NZ’s top Elvis Tribute Artists.

Arguably Australia’s best Tom Jones Tribute Artist, Broderick Lloyd Jones has the powerful vocals, the striking resemblance and the unmistakable stage charisma to match only the man himself. Broderick Lloyd Jones’ Tom Jones impersonation will have the ladies swooning, and the guys crooning from start to finish.

Stuey V

Stuey V brings a very vibrant and energetic performance to the stage and also recently had the honour of performing in the 'The Graceland Tent' in Memphis in 2017, and the 2018 Nashville Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest reaching Top 10 Status . He portrays Elvis from the 50s, 68 Comeback Special and 1970 Vegas years, and he sure knows how to excite an audience.

Johnny Angel

Johnny Angel has been performing around and about and has entered the Down Under ETA competitions for the last few years. Launching his career in Auckland at the Elvis in the Gardens event in 2013, Johnny’s career has continued to grow in momentum. He has also performed at the Elvis Memorial Club’s Elvis in the Park event in recent years. He has a fabulous voice and brings a popular Pacifica feel to Elvis’s music.

Dean Vegas

Dean is a renowned entertainer who has toured the world performing in Dubai, China, Ecuador, Bali, Sweden, Indonesia, Lebanon, Canada, Memphis, London, Las Vegas, New Zealand, Norfolk Island and in clubs and Casinos across Australia. He sang his first rendition of an Elvis song at his school play ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ he sang ‘Rubberneckin’ which he has since added to his repertoire of Elvis songs. Dean travels the world wowing audiences with his ‘Tribute to Elvis’ spectacular. Throughout this energised Vegas style show, audiences not only share the hits from Elvis’ amazing career, but experience the passion and warming personality of a truly great performer. Dean’s shows offer a dynamic and powerful performance that will leave you breathless and wanting more.

Deon Symo is first and foremost a massive Elvis Presley fan who enjoys paying tribute to his idol. Deon is from South Australia and at the age of 21 has mastered a wonderful catalogue of Elvis' hit songs and loves nothing more than getting his audiences up and dancing. Deon's tribute is a detailed performance with fantastic moves and thorough re enactment scenes to compliment his act. Deon's favourite era is the 70s jumpsuit concert years.
