Splashpool are one of Australia’s leading corporate Covers bands.
This 7 piece rock outfit from Tamworth includes some of the Australia’s finest Singers and Musicians, who are all accomplished artists in their own right.
Playing at many corporate events which include Parliament House in Sydney and Twin Towns on the Gold Coast.
The band consist of:
Kevin Anderson (MP) – Vocals and Guitar yes, when he’s not serving the State of NSW he is the front man for Splashpool.
Music is Kev’s long time passion, and tries to be part of as many Splashpool shows as possible. He also plays a mean cowbell !
Sally Anne Whitten – Lead Vocals
Sally Anne is one of the Lead singers but also fronts another couple of bands covering genres from Lounge/Jazz to funky Country and Blues,
as well as being a popular on Air announcer at 2TM in Tamworth
Sal has recently recorded her 5th album, and is a true performer in her own right.
Rae Moody – Lead Vocals, and also one half of Sydney duo The Harmonators, who were also Golden Guitar Finalists.
Rae is a strong vocalist with Sally Anne have a brilliant vocal blend along with their on stage antics, deliver the hits with tight original sounding versions, but also adding the bands own flavour.
Kym Beare – Lead Guitar and Vocals
Kym is one of the finest Lead guitarists in the country and has toured with major acts including The McClymonts and Adam Eckersley Band, as well as producing and recording other artists in his own studio. Kym also is a lead vocalist in Splashpool, and a crowd favourite.
Phil (The Colonel) Weaver on keyboards is the UK import, and all round good guy. He doesn’t sing but tells great jokes!
Phil has many years of shows and experience under his belt here an Australia and in the UK where he toured extensively.
Phil is also a recording musician.
Dave Adams – Drums
Dave has played and toured with many of Country Music’s major acts, including Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar Daley and also plays in Sally Anne Whittens other musical projects. Along with Kevin, Dave is also one of the original members of Splashpool.
He has played on dozens of recordings and is in charge of keeping this large line up together on stage, (and off stage with some light comic relief apparently).
Trevor Stacey – Bass and Vocals
Trevor is the newest member of the band, and has a wealth of Bass playing experience.
He has played with many of Country music’s leading performers and is also a recording musician
Trevor has added yet another Lead vocal and harmonies to the Splashpool line-up.
The Parkes Elvis Festival has become one of the bands Favourite events, after packing out the Cambridge Hotel on the Friday and Saturday nights last year, and they cant wait to come and do it all again in January 2020, before heading to more shows at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
