King Creole

Fondly referred to by many as The King’s best movie of his career, King Creole features Elvis as Danny Fisher, a rebellious young man who takes a job as a nightclub singer. The King Creole nightclub is the only joint in town not run by crook Maxie Field, and Elvis soon attracts the crime boss’s attention.

Co-starring Carolyn Jones and Walker Matthau, King Creole was also the last black and white movie that Elvis ever made.
