Kids Talent Workshop

Fans just can’t help falling in love with Elvis at an early age in Parkes, so in a Festival first we are bringing you an exclusive kid’s talent workshop to nurture and develop the next generation of Elvis tribute artists.

Do you want to learn to shake, rattle and roll like The King? Join Greg Page, the former Yellow Wiggle, and Damian Mullin, accomplished Elvis Tribute Artist in a hands-on interactive workshop to help you perform just like Elvis himself. Learn how to master the moves, the look and the voice in small groups lead by the pros.

Even if you just love to perform, come along and see what you can learn as you sing and dance your way through the afternoon!

Suitable for both boys and girls aged 6 to 10 years, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Limited spaces.

Check out and enjoy other events that are part of the Parkes Elvis Festival.

Damian Mullin

Damian is from Melbourne and combines his tribute to Elvis Presley with a wicked and witty sense of humour that engages the audience from start to finish. His ability to not only laugh at himself but also have fun with the audience is what makes Damian a popular act. He prefers to stay away from competitions these days after winning the UETA Contest 2012 in Surfers Paradise. “One competition was enough for me, I don’t want to be famous and I don’t take it too seriously and at the end of the day I’m just a father of two children and a married man who likes to sing. I just want to have fun with it and so far I’ve made a living out of it for and I think not taking it too seriously has helped a lot.”

Greg Page

Greg, who is well known as the original lead singer and a founding member of the children's band the Wiggles, and also well known in the Elvis community, proudly keeps the memories of Elvis alive with his music and memoribilia. His 2005 solo album, Taking Care of Country, reflects his interest in Elvis Presley's music and it was recorded with the famous TCB Band (Elvis' back-up band). He released his second album with the TCB Band, Let It Be Me, in 2012. Greg has also performed in Las Vegas with the TCB Band and sang back-up with Australian Elvis impersonator Mick Gerace. His personal collection of Elvis memorabilia is proudly exhibited all year round at the King's Castle located at Parkes Visitor Information Centre.
