Greg Page

Greg Page is the voice of a generation of Australians that grew up watching The Wiggles. Greg was the Original Yellow Wiggle with the internationally renowned children’s group for 16 years, and is today a beloved member of the “OG Wiggles” and performs with them on numerous reunion tours. However, his love of Elvis is well-documented, with his collection of Elvis artifacts and memorabilia being housed at The King’s Castle Elvis Museum at the Henry Parkes Centre on the Newell Highway in Parkes.

Greg’s interest in “The King” began when on tour with The Wiggles in 1999, and the band had a rare day off in Memphis, where fellow band mate and Elvis enthusiast, Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle), declared that everyone was going to Graceland to pay homage to “The King”.  This visit opened Greg’s eyes to the man behind the legend – the man who was generous, spiritual, charismatic, and most of all, lost in this world.  This was a story of such juxtaposition that appealed to Greg’s fascination of the human condition.

Greg’s interest slowly turned to collecting the artifacts that make up the most part of The King’s Castle exhibition, but also, to working with Elvis Presley’s own backing band from the 1970’s, The TCB Band – Ronnie Tutt, Jerry Scheff, Glen D. Hardin and James Burton. Greg has performed with the entire band in Las Vegas and in Nashville in 2003 and 2004, and toured NSW with James and Glen in 2005. He has recorded 2 CD’s with the band, and has many stories of their incredible times on stage with Elvis and many other legendary performers such as John Denver, Neil Diamond, Kenny Rogers and many more.

Greg’s entertaining sets will include songs that Elvis was renowned for, as well as songs that honour the men that helped make Elvis’ music so powerful – the members of the TCB Band who gave Elvis’ music in the 70’s a distinct sound. You may also get a sample of some Original Wiggles songs too!
