US Elvis tribute artist Dean Z has been announced as the 2023 Feature Artist for the 30th annual Parkes Elvis Festival.
Hailing from Lancaster, California, Dean has dedicated his entire life to honouring the legacy of Elvis Presley.
“The first song I sang on stage was Jailhouse Rock. Every time I shook the audience would scream, and I’ve been shaking ever since.” Dean said.
Dean became an accomplished musician during his youth and took off for Las Vegas, at 17. Throughout the next 13 years, Dean performed in Vegas, and paid tribute to The King in Japan, Norway, Denmark, England, Canada and Australia! Performing on stages across the globe, Dean has repeatedly shown why he is one of the best in the business today.
Dean was named the 2013 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist in Memphis during “Elvis Week” in a contest sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc, and his career skyrocketed. In addition to being one of the most sought-after Elvis tribute artists in the world, Dean has also become an official host during the annual Elvis Week celebration in Memphis, serving as an ambassador to Graceland and the Elvis Presley estate.
Dean Z is one of the few entertainers who boast the looks, the voice and the moves needed to take the entertainment world by storm, yet he never forgets about the music, the legacy, or the man he is paying tribute to.
“I feel so honored to sing the greatest music ever made,” Dean said. “Making people happy when I’m on stage is so fulfilling, and it’s all because of Elvis. He stands the test of time, and as long as the world wants to hear his music, I’ll be ready to sing it.”
Dean Z will perform at the 2023 Parkes Elvis Festival backed by an impressive Elvis band. He will recreate the performances that made Elvis Presley the one and only King of Rock’n’Roll.
